Ecc 3:11 He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Beautifully stated in the Marvin Sapp’s Song:

There’s no question of your greatness,
no searching of your power.
All the wonder of your glory,
to you forty years is but one hour.
Your knowledge is all encompassing,
to your wisdom there is no end;
for you alone are God,
You are God alone.

It amazes me how God has given us all a purpose and some have tried to find their sense of purpose in theory, philosophy, astronomy, etc. But at the end of the day, there is still a lack and a want for something greater. Many philosophers like Aristotle being one of them searched for great theories seeking for answers and explanations to how this world is structured. Why? What did he and others want to prove to the world? What was their reasoning for such a deep earnest desire to find an explanation to our existence? Ecc 3:11 answers these questions. He simply set the world in the heart of man (Amplified Version; planted eternity in men's hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy].

In the book of Daniel Ch. 1, we see how King Jehoiakim wanted the best of the best to work for him when he called forth the skilful in all wisdom, knowledge , and understanding, those who knew science, magic, and astrology. At the end, he favored the Sons of the almighty God (Daniel; Shadrach; Meshach; and Abednego. The difference between the ordinary knowledgeable men and the Sons of God was that the Sons of God went beyond their earthly knowledge and wisdom to understand that God was the one who had the answers to all questions. They did not seek their own ways, but the ways of God. They were found ten times better than anyone else, not two or three times, but ten.

At the end of the day, it is God who saves us, who gives us purpose, and gives us life. It is He who puts a sense of purpose in our lives, and that purpose is satisfied and fulfilled in God.

SHIFT
Shifting to me means to move something or someone from a current position to another to make an alteration or change from its current position. In a personal aspect I see shift as someone who takes themselves to a ready position, to make one self prepared or get in the ready position for change. Shift in my current personal life means coming to a change of mind and heart in everything that I do. Now that I have started school, I find myself having to shift my daily routine to be prepared for homework, tests, bible study, and prayer. Shift doesn’t always mean you will be comfortable and not challenged, but it most definitely means to putt God’s word into action.

Eccl 3:11 He hath made everything beautiful in His time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginng to the end.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Lord will beautify the meek with salvation. Salvation is just one of the ways that He makes us beautiful in His own time. Romans 12:3 says to: 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. When I read this helps me to look at my brothers, sisters, and all that is in the world in a beautiful, wonderful way. Charity is something that helps me to look at people with love and compassion. To see people the way the word does is a great way to see each other as God's beloved, chosen, the apple of His eye, priest, and king. When I look at all of us that we are all made in His image, and that we are fearfully made are just a few more ways I look at myself and others. “Also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginng to the end." I think that when a person gets the Holy Ghost that God will show us just about anything in His. His word tells us what He has done from Genesis (the beginning) to what He is going to do in Revelation (the end). So I think that God will not show it to man but God will reveal things throw the spirit. I believe that the Bibles shows us throw the Holy Ghost the begging and the end. The beginning: creation by the spoken word of God, and the revelation of the end according to prophecy. And all of this God sets in our hearts.

When I think about shift to me is to get into the move of God to work and do the will of God at the timing of God and not our own time. A person can tell when God is asking them to do greater, He tells you in His word and throw the word that comes from our Pastors. I think doing the blogs is a great way to think and speak about His word in the timing that He has set.

As I read Ecclesiastes the third chapter, I found that the writer Solomon noted that everything has a time and purpose. This chapter seemed to be one of distinction as it seems as if Solomon starts to speak from God’s wisdom (applied knowledge from God) and not man’s wisdom (applied knowledge from situations, people, experience, or natural means or elements). I knew a little background about Solomon’s writings in Ecclesiastes as he felt everything that he had come to know and do was full of vanity (as stated in Eccl. 1: 1-3) and this revealed as Solomon used the word “I” numerously in chapter 2, but it was he himself that became vain in his own wisdom which he later recognizes and expounds upon it in Eccl. 7: 15-29. He felt that no one deserved the possessions and fruits of his labor so this really disturbed him. His nature and character changed as he turned his heart also to entertain other gods of his wives as he built them temples and worshipped them which is found in 1 Kings 11: 1-13. We discussed early about guarding your heart as it will form your very imaginations, beliefs, and later your actions which Solomon failed to do and God became angry and judged him. This is what caused Solomon to now see things as vain throughout his Ecclesiastes writings’. In Eccl. 3:11, it was as if Solomon came to the reality that he could not figure out God even with the wisdom that he possessed. This verse tells us how God hides or seals our divine purpose in us that will only develop and mature with the proper application of God’s words, wisdom, and principles. The part where the verse talks about God making everything beautiful in its time reminds me of planting seeds in a garden. The seeds go through a process of being planted in the right soil (church), receiving the right sunlight (God’s anointing) and water (word) to be able to grow to a beautiful flower (son or daughter of God which can produce more offspring). So, there is a time, season, and purpose to everything that must grow and mature in the world and even more in God. This is what I feel Solomon was saying in chapter 3 and this verse in particular, because he realized that his abilities and contributions were going to be a foundation for someone else to build upon, but the enemy at one point causes him to make selfish, self righteous, and vain statements as he still does to people today. God has also set the world and the purpose as maintainers of the earth in man’s heart, but man is getting so wicked and selfish that we our destroying the thing that we were set in charge over for selfish gain and greed. I just read today that a CEO was building this new building in Las Vegas which is considering demolition before the Grand Opening because of the now expensive condo costs (Crazy Huh?). Can we see how wasteful that is? That is why we have so many inventions and creations to better suit the desires and needs of man (wiser and wickeder). So, I feel that Solomon now understood that we can appreciate all that God is and does for us, but we must never try to emulate or imitate what God is or does (remember Lucifer and a third of the angels). God even complements his own work as it is good in the beginning of creation.

Eccel. 3:11. TIME: interval, date, age, era, occasion, term, space, span; a particular moment, period,*season, duration, conception of past, present and future, as a sequence; rhythmical arrangement of beats (like our hearts) within measures or bars (like our bodies), period characterized by certain marked tendencies; *eternal, unending; in its astronomical sense of measured quantity.
Job questions God for an explanation of time itself. "Are your days the same as man's or is your "day" a "year" to a man's day"? Job 10:5; Job 24:1 "Are thy days as the days of man?"; "are thy years as man's days"; II Peter 3:8"... that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day; Rev. 12:12 "...for the devil is
come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." NOW, is the time to STOP PLAYING CHURCH,GET right with GOD and
become grounded and rooted in HIM,
even the devil knows what time it is and he's mad and not playing with you.
Everything has its place in time. Only GOD knows our true duration (life expectancy). We must understand that our season is not the same as anyone else's past, present or future. Though we are running in this race together in the same time frame, GOD has already established, (set, decided, arranged, determined), each one's
life period is characterized by certain marked
by certain marked tendencies, (these are inclinations)--they cause us to deviate from the intended direction or path that GOD had/has planned for us even before we were born. Inclinations are innate capabilities, which are possessed at birth; they are hereditary, inherited, natural, built-in, of or arising from the most basic structure of an individual,--constitutional. Unfortunately, it is natural for us to influence or be influenced in a certain direction to a certain degree. It's having an effect or impact upon something or someone causing it or them to sway, or to pull; having the power or capacity to produce a desired result from something or someone. To mention a couple of scriptures where the art of persuasion was most effective, showing how people were influenced to do certain things. In Exodus, Pharoah was influenced or persuaded by the chain events of plagues to let GOD's people go. In Ester 2:15,17; 8:5-13, Esther's influence over the King, saved Mordecai and the Jews from death. Also, they were given power over their enemies who were going to kill them.
Looking at the word "Beautiful" through the scripture, GOD created each one of us in His own image. WOW!!! So, as the angels fly around GOD singing Holy, holy, holy, they see a different image each time, on each side. GOODNESS, that's surely a sight to see and a multitude of facets in GOD's glory. Each one beautiful in its own way because GOD created them.
Col. 3:15 - Let the peace of GOD rule in your hearts...and 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom... LET'S STAY ENCOURAGED

God has made things beautiful to him in his time. God does not live in time 1Tim 1: 17 “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” Therefore God is not limited to time; things concerning the earth live in time. This chapter in Ecclesiastes deals with schedules or a time table on earth with no described order but yet it has an order. There is a time to laugh but it doesn’t say when. There is a time to cry but it doesn’t say when, I believe that God has an order of what time things will happen in our lives and on earth. A Mans’ life is only here for a short period in time. Job 7:1-2 “Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? Are not his days also like the days of an hireling? As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work.” Also read Isaiah 40: 7-8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Even Jesus, when he came on earth he only came to do his father’s business. AS a man he was giving time to mature from a baby to a man then his ministry only lasted 3 years. Wow. Even Jesus was limited to time a God in human form. But God controls what happens in our time, by allowing and not allowing things to happen to man and earth.

When we look at verse 11, which says “He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” We first must understand the first verses of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 which lets us know that to everything there is a season or rather a time for every purpose to why things happen in our lives. God has created all “times” of life for us and each is appropriate and beautiful. Even the good and the bad are beautiful for God’s perfect purpose to be fulfilled in our lives. We do not understand God’s purpose so we question Him with questions such as, Why did this happen to me or why was I born this way, because we focus our attention on the wrong things. For example, “we look at the external, while God is looking at the internal,” plus, n Job 5:9 (NIV) it says that God performs wonders that can not be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. First of all, we do not understand God because his thoughts and ways are higher than ours but because “we see today, while God is working on forever but no matter what, we do have to trust His plan and purpose for our life. When I think about the subject of “time” I realized that I limit God because of my personal definition of time which is from the time I need God, until the time He shows up, but if I really take hold to the scriptures and believe by faith, then I would know that when I ask, I shall receive and God is my provided, but because of that interval or rather, waiting; doubt comes in and delays or even cancels my call. We must realize that from the beginning to end that God has everything under his control, working His Divine Program.

There are many that look for how the world came to be in every place but the word of God. I believe that they just want to be able to understand. (Ex. a sandwich) You get two pieces of bread, place meat or what ever you like and you have a sandwich. Many just do not want to believe or know God.
